Surrounded by Salawāt

Sometimes the simplest ways are the most beautiful.

If you find it hard to remember to send Salawāt throughout the day, let it come to you through sound. Play nasheeds and praises of the Prophet ﷺ while you work, cook, drive, or rest. Let the words flow through your home, filling the air with love and remembrance.

As you listen, you may notice the words settling into your heart and mind. Long after the audio stops, you might still find yourself repeating the words quietly or humming the tune. Even if it is only in your mind, it is still counted for you. This is a gift from Allah, a gentle way of keeping your tongue, mind and heart busy with remembrance and your soul connected to the Prophet ﷺ.

Every time you repeat those words, even without intention, it is recorded as Salawāt in your book of deeds. Every hum carries reward. Every soft repetition, whether aloud or silent in your thoughts, is a prayer reaching the heavens.

Fill your space with Salawāt until it becomes part of you. Let it be the background to your life, a constant flow of blessings that surrounds you and follows you wherever you go. In time, you will find that your heart feels lighter, your days feel softer, and your connection to the Prophet ﷺ feels closer than ever.

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

May Allah make Salawāt a constant on our tongues, hearts and a source of light in our lives, both in this world and the next. Ameen 🤍
