Miswāk
A blessed Sunnah that purifies the body, uplifts the soul, and earns the pleasure of Allah.
The Prophet ﷺ said,
“If I had not found it difficult for my Ummah, I would have commanded them to use the miswāk before every prayer.”
(Bukhārī)
Miswāk is more than just a stick. It is a tool of purification. A practice beloved to the Prophet ﷺ. A means of honouring the body Allah gave you and preparing the heart for divine connection.
He ﷺ never abandoned the miswāk until his last breath. In his final moments, it was handed to him, and he used it before returning to his Lord. This is not coincidence. This is a sign.
The scholars say, one who lives with the Sunnah will be honoured with it in their death. And one who uses the miswāk regularly, bi’idhnillah, will be granted a death upon imān.
